ব্যাখ্যা ও সঠিক সমাধান
উত্তর:
Father prayed that I might pass the exam.
Indirect naration-এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী 'Father prayed that I might pass the exam' বাক্যটি সঠিক। এর direct রূপ হলো Father said to me, "May you pass the exam" । বাক্যটি যদি optative sentence-এ হয় তাহলে said-এর পরিবর্তে prayed বসে, তারপর কমার পরিবর্তে that তারপর sub + may থাকলে might + v₁ + obj এই নিয়মে বসে।
